Item: Energy Drink
Purpose: Replenishes a little stamina
Found: In front of buildings, inside all explorable buildings usually
on table tops or on the floor.
Use: When you have been wounded and your stamina gauge is showing
some red. |
Item: First Aid Kit
Purpose: Replenishes some stamina
Found: Inside all explorable buildings, usually on table tops. Also
found on the ground in various locations.
Use: When your stamina gauge is in darker red. |

Item: Ampoule
Purpose: Replenishes a lot of stamina
Found: This item is rare, although there are around 10 in the game,
you have to hunt for them. Usually on the ground or inside some of
the explorable buildings.
Use: When your stamina gauge shows a deep red static. |
Item: Handgun
Purpose: Short to medium range weapon
Found: Inside a shopping cart in the Woodside Apartment building
Use: In close range battles or medium range battles with nurses/straightjacket
enemies. |

Purpose: Ammunition for your handgun
Found: Even before you get the handgun, on the streets and inside
all explorable buildings.
Use: When your handgun is low on ammunition. |

Shotgun
Purpose: For short/medium and long range battles.
Found: Inside a locker in the Hospital
Use: Mainly with nurses and doormen. |

the ground in front of buildings.

Hunting Rifle
Purpose: For harder battles
Found: Inside a broken cabinet in the Prison
Use: Against Eddie and the Pyramid Heads |

Item: Rifle Shells
Purpose: Ammunition for your hunting rifle
Found: Fairly rare item found inside the Historical Society/Prison
and Hotel areas, also on the ground.
Use: When your rifle is low on ammunition |
Item: Wooden plank
with nail.
Purpose: Close range battles
Found: Your first weapon when you play it for the first time, it is
picked up automatically when you go to get the radio
Use: Against straightjacket enemies and mannequins. |

Item: Radio
Purpose: A warning system against enemies
Found: At the end of a dirt road in the first part of Silent Hill
Use: Is used automatically when an enemy is near. |
Item: Flashlight
Purpose: To see more clearly in darkened areas.
Found: In the pocker of a dress-makers mannequin in the Apartment
building.
Use: Is used automatically in low light areas, but can be switched
off. |

Item: Steel Pipe
Purpose: Close range weapon
Found: In the bonnet of a car along Nathan Avenue.
Use: Against straightjacket enemies
and mannequins. |
Item: Chainsaw
Purpose: Close range weapon
Found: The second time you play, stuck in a log on your way into the
town.
Use: Against most enemies, but it is slow to restart. |

Item: Hyperspray
Purpose: Varies in strength, but a spray that can be used as a weapon
Found: Inside the Caravan once you have got the "Rebirth"
ending, or any ending twice.
Use: Against any enemy except for The Pyramid Head. |
Item: Great Knife
Purpose: Short Range weapon, very hard to use.
Found: Under the Silent Hill historical building.
Use: I don't suggest you use this weapon as it's far too hard to handle. |
