What
is it? Child "Mumbler"
Where? School, Amusement Park, Alternative world.
This is probably the most freakish of all the Silent Hill enemies.
They attack in groups of two to four wielding small knives, lunging
towards you, laughing in a very disturbing way.
Weapon of Choice? Hand gun or Metal Pipe. |
What
is it? Shadow Child "Larval Stalker"
Where? Amusement Park.
This is the slightly more dangerous version of the "Child",
it's invisible because it's in a shadow form. It acts exactly the
same way as it's other form, but, luckily, only appears on it's own.
Weapon of choice? Hand gun. |

What is it? Shadow Baby
"Stalker"
Where? School, Alternative world.
This little guy is only there for scarying the shit out of you. It's
completely harmless, but makes a squeeking sound when exposed to light.
Some say it's the "Shadow Childs" baby form... but we don't
know that for sure.
Weapon of choice? Flash light. |
What is
it? Dog "Groaner"
Where? The streets of Silent Hill, Light House.
These guys are no ordinary dogs, ferosious and seemingly zombie-like,
they jump at you as you're walking the misty streets of Silent Hill.
Weapon of choice? Metal pipe, Hand gun. |

What is it? Flying creature.
"Air Screamer"
Where? The streets of Silent Hill, Light House.
These guys are the most common of all enemies in Silent Hill. They
fly low and hit you over the head hard, without any warning. They
can also be found on the ground, or hiding in corners, waiting to
attack.
Weapon of choice? Hand gun. |
What is
it? Ape man "Romper"
Where? The streets of Silent Hill, Light House.
These guys are extreamly freaky. They humph as they jump about on
all fours. Fairly slow, but very damaging. They jump on top of you
and start ripping at your flesh with their teeth.
Weapon of choice? Shotgun. |

What is it?
Turtle "Hanged Scratcher"
Where? Sewer
These guys hang from the ceiling and drop down on you when you least
expect it. They almost silent, the only thing you hear is the scratching
of their claws in the distance. They can also be found walking around,
usually in groups of two to three.
Very damaging, they hit you with their large front hook-type feelers.

of Choice? There's no radio to warn you where these guys are, so be
prepared any way possible. |
What
is it? Giant roach "Cockroach"
Where? Alternative School, Hospital, Sewer, Alternative world.
This insect can do quite a bit of damage. They squeek around like
a rusty bike wheel, but are usually easily avoided. They come in groups
of up to three.
Weapon of choice? Foot. |

it? Teddy Bear
Where? Sewer, Amusement Park.
The teddy bear is not a very common creature in Silent Hill. They
usually are on their own and waddle silently.
Weapon of choice? Hand gun, but easily avoided. |
What is
it? Nurse "Puppet Nurse"
Where? Hospital, Alternative Hospital
These girls have been possesed by a creature that is attatched to
their backs. They work in groups of about three, wielding scalpels
they lunge forward attacking you, sometimes while one holds you down,
so watch your back.
Weapon of choice? Chainsaw |

What is it? Doctor "Puppet
Doctor"
Where? Hospital, Alternative
Hospital
Very much the same as the nurse, but a lot more rare. These men usually
appear after you've checked a hallway and gone into a room, they'll
appear in that same hallway you just checked.
